WRNexusJS 0.6.0 release notes
This developer test build introduces the v0.6 language and runtime foundation:
- Client, server, and shared function modifiers in one
functions {}block. - Typed callable
outputs {}andoutput.name(payload). - Typed/optional props, individual and grouped state, and runtime-specific state.
- Structured
.wrn, package, store, layout, andimport typedeclarations. - TypeScript application types from
app/types, including ambientglobal.d.ts. - Separate server/browser compiler targets, declaration generation, contract metadata, and RPC manifests.
- Typed same-origin browser-to-server calls through
server.name(...). - New
@wrnexus/storepackage with request-scoped global/page stores, persistence, lifecycle, computed values, reset, snapshots, hydration, and HMR-compatible updates. - New
@wrnexus/typecheckpackage using the TypeScript compiler API. - Real v0.6 CLI migrations with dry-run, report, explicit-import, backup, and compatibility behavior.
- Migrated UI components and regenerated component reference/showcase.
- Updated VS Code grammar, diagnostics, completions, snippets, and formatter recognition.
- DevToolbar runtime/store inspection panels.
Validation status
Focused TypeScript compilation, parser/compiler probes, RPC validation, request-store isolation, JavaScript syntax checks, UI source migration checks, and generated showcase parsing were run in the packaging environment. Bun was unavailable, so the complete Bun test/lint/format/build suite must be run on the target development machine before publishing.
Post-validation blocker fixes
This archive also includes the focused fixes for generated browser identifier safety, browser-store RPC bindings, concrete UI output payload contracts, configured import-mode enforcement, persistence migration/validation emission, end-to-end store HMR, and restricted RPC exposure. See FIXES-0.6.0-ISSUES-1-7.md.
R9 test-stability correction
- Fixed ToggleCount animation timer drift by scheduling all frames relative to the animation start.
- Added stale-animation cancellation tokens.
- Added generated browser peer-function bindings for client/shared function calls.
R10 peer-function scoped-state correction
- Peer client/shared functions are invoked through synchronized scoped wrappers.
- Nested peer calls no longer have their state changes overwritten by stale outer aliases.
- Synchronous, asynchronous, and throwing peer calls refresh shared state correctly.
- Added an executable
validate:0.6regression probe for the exact compiler failure.
R12 release workflow correction
The private publish workflow now compares generated UI reference files using canonical Git diffs, includes the component catalog, and uses platform-independent generator ordering. This prevents line-ending-only rewrites from being reported as stale references on Windows.
